Exactly as OpenSats, we believe that free and open-source software is essential to the future of the internet. For some time, we were wondering how we could help open-source contributors. During Bitcoin Atlantis, the idea of kicking off a community fundraiser dedicated to The Nostr Fund emerged. Well, here we are.

What's in for you? Long story short, a custom Nostr address (NIP-05) like satoshi@nostria.space. Please make sure to attach your npub as well as the NIP-05 address when donating. Also, to prevent bad faith behaviour, the name comes along with a few ToS strings.

So what's the deal? Basically, we ask you to donate 21000 sats either to our LNbits tip jar or to The Nostr Fund directly. In the latter case, please forward us the payment receipt as well as the address you want to register.

This community fundraiser will start on March 9th and go on for 42 days. 100% will be forwarded to The Nostr Fund, operated by OpenSats.
